About Me
Hi, my name is Lori. I was born and raised in Texas. I have been very sensitive to the environment and have had many astounding spiritual experiences since childhood. I never really had anyone to talk to about my experiences until I reached adulthood. The more I opened myself up to my intuitive abilities, the more I knew they were always there. I am a clairvoyant, clairaudient, claircognizant (or clairsentient) and an empath. I can also be described as a spontaneous channel and medium.
One of my most remembered childhood spiritual experiences was when I was about four years old. My mother took me swimming to a nearby pool. Somehow I found myself in the deep end of the pool and began sinking. As I was submerged under water, a great feeling of peace overcame me. I heard a voice say, "it is not your time yet, honey." At the same time I felt a force push me above the water and move me toward my mother who was holding on to the ladder, that was bolted to the side of the pool, with one hand and stretching out to pull me to safety with her other hand.
As a child, I was in tune with people and I just seemed to know what was going on with others who came into my life and to prophecise what was going to happen with them. I was sensitive and had difficulty being around too many people at that time. I was too young to be able to distinguish my own feelings from others’. Because of this, I loved being alone and talking to my, what I now call, Angels, Teachers, and Spirit Guides.
I am formally educated. For many years I worked as a Human Resources Executive for various businesses including hospitals, universities, and high tech consulting. My most important experience was in the health and consulting related fields. I had an uncanny ability to place the right employees in certain positions and to counsel employees who were experiencing difficulties. My superiors began noticing I was able to see the overall psychology and energy of an organization, predict where the organization was heading, and to identify toxic associates. Once these people were identified, I was able to help management work with those employees to alleviate problems that were hindering the organization from reaching its goals. One of my bosses said that I have the ability to sense problems within an organization before they develop into a crisis. As a psychic person in the corporate world, I constantly was bombarded by people’s feelings, egos and attitudes until I learned how to separate them from my own.
During a time of great challenges (both personal and professional), I had a startling vision of my beloved, departed grandfather. I was stunned to see him standing right in front of me while he was communicating messages. He reminded me of the special times we had together when I was a child. He also told me not to worry because; given everything I was going through, I was being primed for a higher purpose. I heard him say I was right where I needed to be at the moment and he also reminded me that one cannot feel joy without feeling much sadness. He said I would rise above adversity into a higher sense of peace. He also said I would be called to help others on a larger scale once I acknowledge and move through the pain and spiritual lessons that have been placed before me. The gift of this experience completely changed the direction of my life for the better, I must say!
My psychic intuitive career began back in 1990 when several spiritual and metaphysical teachers entered my life. Most significant was a nurse and very gifted psychic whom I met while working in health care. She was instrumental in validating my gifts and assisting me in harnessing my abilities to use them for the good of those I meet and for the good of the whole. My collaboration with her continues to this day!I have attended psychic development classes in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as well as The College of Metaphysical Studies in Florida. Through these classes I learned the tools to center and heal myself. I always felt my Guides around me and my true spiritual awakening had begun.
Throughout the years I have studied other metaphysical facets such as Feng Shui and Energy Healing. I studied Essential Feng Shui and graduated from the Western School of Feng Shui in San Diego, CA. Later, I took my knowledge to a deeper, spiritual understanding and studied Black Sect Feng Shui with the late Grand Master Professor Thomas Lin Yun in Berkley, CA. I have been a practioner of this beautiful art for more than 10 years and have consulted with many businesses and individuals in Colorado, Texas, and Florida. I am also an Usui Reiki Master and have studied various forms of energy healing. Now, I teach others in becoming more aware of their spiritual abilities so they may achieve and maintain a harmonious existence through personal and business consultations as well as occasional classes. In addition, I do psychic telephone, email, and chat readings for those seeking information regarding specific areas of their lives.
